The MigPak 406S is a conventional MIG/MAG/FCW power source using simple 3-phase switch and tap technology to produce rugged and reliable machines for industrial welding applications up to 400A. The new '6S' series Transmigs replace the now familiar 333S and 403S/SW models.

The new Transmigs are now constructed in a taller and narrower all metal format requiring reduced floor-space and match the overall family image of the electronic controlled Transmig 423S and 523S launched in early 2003. Moulded front panels and the like have been eliminated and the new machines "look, work and weld" the part!

40 Voltage selections (4x10) in combination with 2 levels of inductance give very precise control of the welding characteristics of the previous models have been retained. Digital volt and ammeters with Last Reading Hold as standard and supplied with removable gas cylinder trays, feeder swivel mounting post and work return lead.

The package also includes a genuine Binzel MB36 4m MIG torch rated at 360A. The feeder incorporates a selectable slow run-in function for optimum arc-starts.
