3M is delighted to introduce a new speciality particulate respirator to complement its comprehensive offering of respiratory protection.  The 3M 9922 Maintenance Free Respirator is designed to provide comfortable protection against fine dusts and oil and water-based mists. In addition, it will provide relief from nuisance levels of organic vapours from solvents, degreaser and resins and provides protection against respiratory hazards generated during welding such as welding fume and Ozone gas.

The 3M 9922 respirator has a lightweight construction which promotes greater comfort and contributes to increased wear time, whilst its robust shell and cup design means it maintains its shape well during use and conforms well to most face shapes and sizes.  The new respirator also features 3M Advanced Electret filter media which combines highly effective filtering performance with low breathing resistance for a comfortable wear.  The 3MTM Cool Flow Valve is also incorporated into the design and provides increased comfort in hot and humid conditions by effectively removing heat and moisture build up and removing exhaled air to minimise the risk of misting eyewear.

The 3M 9922 Maintenance Free Respirator is suitable for use in a large variety of applications including woodworking, foundry operations, waste management, lab settings, agriculture, petrochemical manufacturing and welding where particles and nuisance levels of organic vapours may be present.

This respirator conforms to EN149, FFP2 and has an APF of 10.
