The revolutionary SPEEDGLAS 9000 helmet series features four aerodynamic exhaust vents to remove exhaled air without letting in welding fume. For welders who keep their helmets in the down position for prolonged periods of time, the build-up of carbon dioxide (CO2) is greatly reduced compared to traditional helmet designs. Each filter is a laminate of seven different layers: a UV/IR filter, 3 polarizers and 3 liquid crystal elements.
