The 3M9928 Premium Valved Welding Fume Respirator is specifically designed to offer respiratory protection in welding operations. For extra protection against Ozone gas and nuisance odours generated by MIG and TIG welding, the 3M™ 9928 respirators have a layer of treated charcoal built into the body of the respirator.

- Efficient particulate filter resists clogging for extended use against welding fume
- Activated carbon layer filters out Ozone generated by MIG, TIG and ARC welding operations
- 3M Cool Flow valve which helps to reduce the build-up of heat and moisture on the face that can lead to skin irritation. The Cool Flow valve reduces heat build-up to offer comfortable protection
- Flame retardant - the specially treated outer-shell offers increased flame retardancy
- Welding shields - low profile design for compatibility with welding shields
- Soft sealing ring and adjustable straps ensure a comfortable, properly sealed fit. The 3M™ 9928 offers improved comfort and superior face fit with the addition of a soft faceseal gasket.
