Q. How secure is your service?

A. ToolnWeld use SagePay to provide our customers with the highest level of secure online ordering. All transaction information passed between our site and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

 Q. That's OK but I'm still sceptical. Can't I just call my order into you over the phone?

A. ToolnWeld will gladly accept your order any way you wish to give it to us. We, however, recommend that all orders be placed through our web site so they can be fully integrated into our order processing and site management software. This will allow us to monitor the status of your order more effectively than if it is called in manually. Remember, you have the ability to place your order electronically on the site using the shopping cart system. If you are concerned about giving out your credit information over the internet, you can call our Customer Service hotline on 0800 915 5092 during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm) and give your credit card number verbally to one of our Customer Service Representatives. Please do not leave your number on the answering machine.

 Q. I'd love to order from you but I don't have a credit card. Can I still use your service?

A. Yes you can. Just check the prices online including carriage and post your order to the address below enclosing your cheque as your method of payment. Post to: ToolnWeld Sales, Main Street, Hull, HU2 0HX. Once we have received your payment, we will continue to process your order. Please do not send any cash or Money Orders drawn on foreign banks.

 Q. I live in a foreign country. Can I still buy through your service?

A. Yes. We have many international customers and we pride ourselves in the excellent service we provide these customers. The carriage will always be extra at cost. Please choose your country from the drop down box when you open your account. If your country does not appear, process your order via the Shopping Cart, and we will contact you to advise the extra carriage charge. You can also arrange collection, by you or your representative, from our address in the UK.

 Q. Are there any countries that you do not ship to?

A. There are many countries that we cannot accept credit cards orders from. We will, however, be glad ship to these countries if payment is made in full by International Money Order drawn on a UK Bank in sterling. This policy is not intended in anyway to cast doubt on the honesty of customers from these countries but is the policy of our bank. Certain products are restricted for overseas sales.

 Q. What about shipping charges to overseas destinations?

A. We currently ship to over 30 different countries worldwide. There are an enormous number of different freight rates to these countries. The default charge shown our order form is an average charge for a 10 kilo parcel. Orders over 10 kilos will be charged actual cost of shipping. We use the APC Group and Parcel Force Worldwide for our Courier deliveries

 

Q. What about backorders?
A. We usually hold your order until we can ship it complete. We will however contact you via email to offer you the choice of dispatching your order as it becomes available. Due to the higher cost of shipping, there are no backorders for foreign orders.
